In your face bald eaglesThis image of two adult bald eagles is part of an epic battle sequence I shot in February 2021 at Sheffield Mills Eagle Watch, Nova Scotia. These two had 3 separate goes at each other before the bird attacking from above finally gave up (with a close zoom, the eye flap covers on the upper bird are visible and about 75% extended). I had a very cluttered background in the original image, so in this version I masked out the eagles and dropped in a cloud background I shot on another February day. This type of background replacement will be something I cover in my winter winter eagle action workshops in Nova Scotia.
