For any photographer who loves shooting abandoned Americana, a visit to the Arbon and Pocatello Valleys in southern Idaho is amazing. In this image, shot at sunset, an old Chevy car, riddled with bullet holes, was abandoned along with farm equipment (some visible in the background), cabins, and a house. This image was shot in the Pocatello Valley only a few hundred yards from the Utah border, just before Christmas in 2017 an in a winter that had so far been snowless. For overland travelers, the Trans-America Trail passes this old farmstead just one farm road over to the west.
