This monochrome image is of a mountain peak just on the leeward side of the main Himalayan range. I took this image from the side of the road up to the Kara La pass, on the drive from Lhasa to Shigatze. Being a skier from age 4, this was another Tibetan mountain that went onto my mental checklist of places to visit again when I had skis along.
